Why do you need Adblue?

Why do you need Adblue?

Well, if you have a diesel vehicle which has been designed to meet Euro 6 then the chances are that the car or van is fitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. This technology is designed to reduce the amount of Nitrogen Oxide (harmful exhaust emissions) and works in conjunction with the addition of AdBlue®. When the AdBlue® is injected into the exhaust gases and passes through the SCR catalysator the Nitrogen Oxide is converted into harmless nitrogen and water, reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides by up to 80%. AdBlue® consumption is determined by the size of the diesel engine and the way you drive!
